How long does it take to learn?
About one song. With anything new, it takes a few minutes to get oriented. After your first song, most people get cruising on it. That’s because Smart678 analyzes the tempo, locks the beat to a grid, and maps out the song’s sections for you. For many songs, you never have to zoom in to find the transient of the waveform, and will get it to routine length in just a few minutes.

What kinds of songs work best?
Songs with a steady beat, which is most of what dancers perform to. Smart678 finds the tempo analyzes the song structure, and keeps your edit points on the beat. Free-time songs can still be edited by hand.
What files can I upload?
MP3, WAV, M4A, and AIFF. Downloads come back as a high-quality 320 kbps MP3 or a 44.1 kHz / 16-bit WAV, ready for the studio and the stage.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Smart678 runs in your web browser. The heavy lifting happens on our servers, so it works on the computer, tablet, or phone you already have.
How do credits work?
One credit unlocks one song. From then on, that song is yours to edit and download without limits, and re-uploading it never costs a second credit. Paid credits keep for seven years.
Is my music public?
